Prelude (Spencer)

Welcome and Introduction (Jacob)

Centering Prayer (Jacob)

Good and gracious God, who made the trees and the sunshine, we give you thanks that, as we begin our worship experience this day, we are also joining with communities all around the world in worship. As we prepare our hearts for worship, invite us into the sure foundation of your love, which remains with us always. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Opening Hymn: NCH 407 How Firm a Foundation (v. 1-3) Jacob will read the text, then Spencer will play 2 verses piano solo

How firm a foundation for you has been laid, by God in the Word in the sacrifice paid!

What more can God say than to you has been said, to you, who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

 Fear not, I am with you, oh, be not dismayed. for I am your God, I will still give you aid;

I’ll strengthen you, help you, and cause you to stand upheld by my gracious, omnipotent hand.

“When through the deep waters I call you to go, the rivers of woe shall not over you flow;

For I will be with you, your troubles to bless, delivering you from your deepest distress.”

 Scripture: Romans 8: 26-39 (Bob)         Message (Jacob)            Prayers of the People and Lord’s Prayer (Jacob)

Closing Hymn: NCH 428 Great Is Your Faithfulness Jacob will read the text, then Spencer will play 2 verses piano solo

Great is your faithfulness, O God Creator. With you no shadow of turning we see. You do not change, your compassions they fail not;

All of your goodness forever will be.

 Great is your faithfulness, great is your faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed your hand has provided.

Great is your faithfulness, God, unto me.

 Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness

to your great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is your faithfulness, great is your faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed your hand has provided.

Great is your faithfulness, God, unto me.

 Pardon for sin and a peace so enduring, your own dear presence to cheer and to guide. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,

blessings all mine with ten thousand beside.

 Great is your faithfulness, great is your faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed your hand has provided.

Great is your faithfulness, God, unto me.

 Benediction (Jacob)      Postlude (Spencer)
