We rejoice in the presence of the youth of our congregation!
We currently offer regular youth group activities for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Youth grades 1 through 8 are invited to participate in our weekly Youth Group program each Wednesday night. We begin at 6:00 with an all church dinner and activities for the youth beginning at 6:30. We are grateful to share the meal with many adults in our congregation, including choir members, parents of the youth and our gracious and talented cooks.
Preschool youth are welcome on Wednesdays as well and we offer age appropriate activities for preschoolers on the first Wednesday of each month.
Our Youth Group program focuses on exploring what it means to be the hands of Christ by offering lessons and activities which include aspects of worship, education, mission, stewardship and fellowship.
Our Confirmation Class (grades 8 & 9) meets every other Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:45. The program focuses on a variety of aspects of discipleship and spiritual development and prepares participants to affirm their baptism through the rite of confirmation.
We also offer periodic educational and fellowship opportunities for Jr. and Sr. High youth.
We collected over 200 cans of soup (and other canned goods) during our Souper Bowl of Caring efforts. We also raised $200.00 in donations to give to Church World Services.
Cinnamon Roll Fundraiserr
Every third Sunday until June the High School Youth Group will be selling delicious Cinnamon rolls to help offset the cost of attending Regional Youth Event (RYE)
We offer Sunday School for all ages Labor Day through May beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Children and youth classes offer a time where participants can explore and learn about the Christian faith through scripture, activities, crafts and discussion.
